On november 25 we wear purple

EL 25 de Noviembre se acerca, y por si alguien no lo sabe es el   Día Internacional de la Eliminación de la Violencia contra la Mujer (o DIEVCM).

Éste es un tema que nos atañe a todos por igual y por el que la sociedad debe luchar, en el 2013 en España han muerto 53 mujeres por culpa de ella.

No soy una experta en el tema ni nada parecido asique solo añadiré que la violencia de género empieza mucho antes de que llegue la violencia física por ello todos debemos estar alerta para detectarla, denunciarla y ayudar a las víctimas en la medida que podamos.

Rememorando éste día os dejo dos canciones relacionadas con el tema y un fondos de pantalla para el ordenador y el móvil que podéis descargaros para que el 25 tod@s llevemos lila.

The 25 of November is approaching and in case someone doesn´t know is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. 

This is an issue that affects us all, and a subject that society must fight against. In 2013 just in my country (Spain) 53 women have died because of it.

I´m not an expert on this topic but I will add that gender violence starts long before the Physical violence arrives so because of that we must all be on the watch for it, to detect, report and help the victims as far as we can.

A broken arm = living room time

Do you remember how I said in my last post it was time to to get stuff done, three days before that I broke my right arm.

So right now I can’t do almost nothing on my own which means I will be spending a lot of time on my parents' living room. And as a person who can’t stand not doing anything is getting pretty hard, so I spent half my day on internet/tv (is sad I now :)

So I let you some living rooms below as is where I’m spending my my time these last few days.

Os acordáis de cómo en mi último post dije que era hora de empezar a trabajar en serio, bueno pues tres días después de esa declaración de intenciones me rompí  el brazo derecho.

Por lo que ahora mismo no puedo hacer casi nada yo sola, lo que en mi caso equivale a pasar mucho tiempo en el sofá de mis padres, algo que no llevo muy bien al ser una persona que necesita hacer bastantes cosas para no aburrirse.

A continuación os dejo algunas salas de estar que donde he pasado mi tiempo estos últimos días.

WORKSPACE

It’s time to get stuff done, and for me that´s always easier when I am surrounded by an environment that i like and feel comfortable around (and the same applies to your work partners).

Things that will make you work more confidently and hopefully more productively:

• Big table (as a person that expands her things  A LOT when is working this is mandatory)
• Light, Light and more light in many forms and ways as possible
• Surround yourself with stuff you like
• Quotes
• Photographs, drawings, images
• Stationery, desk supplies
• Even some toys, wherever that comes to your mind and is not big enough to occupy all your table
• Use your walls and make them yours

And About all kept your desk clean and organized clear ideas come from  clear spaces!!

And finally even thought i have the most common Ikea desk (with a Little of washi tape here and there ) I find that wherever it´s your current workspace u can always spice it up and personalize it; here you have some inspiration.

Es hora de ponerse manos a la obra y empezar a trabajar en serio, y para mí esto siempre ha sido más fácil si estoy rodeada de un ambiente que me gusta y en el que me sienta cómoda (y lo mismo se aplica a la gente)

Aquí os dejo algunas cosillas que os ayudarán a trabajar de una forma mas cómoda, y con suerte mas productiva.

•  Mesa grande (como persona que se expande, y mucho, cuando estudio o trabajo esto es imprescindible)
• Luz, luz y más luz en todas las formas y maneras en las que la puedas tener.
• Rodéate de cosas que te guste.
•  Citas y frases que te inspiren
• Fotos, dibujos, imágenes
• Material de oficina y papelería
• Incluso algún muñequito o figura (siempre que quepa en la mesa)
• Usa tus paredes y hazlas tuyas.

     y sobre todo mantén tu escritorio limpio y ordenado, los espacios ordenados llevan a mentes ordenadas.

Y aunque yo tengo el típico escritorio de Ikea (con un poco de washi tape aquí y allá) creo que sea cual sea vuestro espacio de trabajo actual siempre lo podéis animar o personalizar un poco, aquí os dejo algunas imágenes para que os sirvan de inspiración.
