Probably some of you don´t know about it, but today it´s the constitution day here in Spain, and that means that today is a festive, free day (aka no work no uni just fun day )

In my family this also means it´s time to get get the christmas ornaments out and start hanging them and putting them around.

So in case you haven´t done your decorations this year, you think you need an extra something new or you just enjoy seeing christmary things I let you below some of my favourites ornaments.

Con las navidades acercándose es momento de decorar nuestro entorno (si no lo habéis hecho ya)  y dejarlo todo listo para empezar a celebrar.

En casa siempre aprovechamos el puente de la constitución para esto, que mejor forma de pasar un día festivo que sacando todas las luces, guirnaldas, adornos y demás cosas navideñas.

A si que en caso de que aún no hayáis decorado vuestro hogar, creáis que le falta algo especial o simplemente queráis añadir algo nuevo este año aquí os dejo mis objetos preferidos.

And to end up I have sad news, I just read in the newspaper that Mandela passed away yesterday, so this christmas a new and very bright star will be lighting our ski, and nothing better to honor him than a piece of his wisdom.

Y para terminar una noticia triste, acabo de leer en el periódico que Nelson Mandela falleció anoche, asique esta navidad habrá una nueva y muy brillante estrella alumbrando el cielo, nada mejor que recordarlo con un trocito de su sabiduría.

This post was supposed to be about the Shopping night Barcelona but an architectural thing come out and I couldn´t assist this year so to redeem myself from this I let you these pictures that  I found a while ago, but even though they were supposed to be for Halloween they fit perfect here too and they are so cute I needed to post them.

Este post debía ser sobre la Shopping night Barcelona, pero esa noche me surgió un evento de arquitectura y no pude asistir, así que a cambio os dejo estas fotografías que  encontré  hace ya algún tiempo y a pesar de que fueron ideadas para Halloween también quedan perfectas en este post además me hicieron tanta gracia que tenía que compartirlas.

So instead of that I end up going next day to the we love cats market, a market which funding is donated to help the cats that have been abandoned on the streets get a second chance.

And of course after that a stop to the christmas market was mandatory !!

Así que en  lugar de eso terminé yendo el día siguiente a we love cats market que es un mercadillo de cosas hechas a mano que recauda dinero para darles una segunda oportunidad a los gatos que han sido abandonados en la calle.

Y por supuesto pasé por el mercado navideño por que en estas fechas es una parada obligada !!

On november 25 we wear purple

EL 25 de Noviembre se acerca, y por si alguien no lo sabe es el   Día Internacional de la Eliminación de la Violencia contra la Mujer (o DIEVCM).

Éste es un tema que nos atañe a todos por igual y por el que la sociedad debe luchar, en el 2013 en España han muerto 53 mujeres por culpa de ella.

No soy una experta en el tema ni nada parecido asique solo añadiré que la violencia de género empieza mucho antes de que llegue la violencia física por ello todos debemos estar alerta para detectarla, denunciarla y ayudar a las víctimas en la medida que podamos.

Rememorando éste día os dejo dos canciones relacionadas con el tema y un fondos de pantalla para el ordenador y el móvil que podéis descargaros para que el 25 tod@s llevemos lila.

The 25 of November is approaching and in case someone doesn´t know is the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. 

This is an issue that affects us all, and a subject that society must fight against. In 2013 just in my country (Spain) 53 women have died because of it.

I´m not an expert on this topic but I will add that gender violence starts long before the Physical violence arrives so because of that we must all be on the watch for it, to detect, report and help the victims as far as we can.

So commemorating this day I let you bellow two songs related to these theme and wallpapers for your mobile or computer so on 25 we all wear purple.

Before all the festivities and parties Start, it's the time to decor and organize EVERYTHING, and if you are throwing a party or having some people over, I'm sure yo want everything to look perfect (wherever perfect means for you) so I will I let you some objects to spice up your table and decor.

I know a lot of this items do great gifts, but everyone deserves an auto-gift once in a while.

Have fun preparing your house for people and people will have fun in your home.
